Green crops growing in a hazy Namibian field

Grown here. Made here. Built to scale.

Building Namibia's local food supply chain, from farm to shelf.

Kalinasho Trading Enterprises CC is a Namibian food manufacturer building the missing link between the country’s farms and its shelves. Founded in 2023 and based in Ongwediva, we turn locally grown mahangu, fruit, nuts and herbs into hygienic, 100% natural food products, and we place them in front of the retailers, wholesalers and households that need them.

The gap we exist to close

Namibia imports around 80 per cent of its processed food, according to the Namibian Agronomic Board. At the same time, more than 50,000 local farmers lack dependable access to market, and an estimated 15–20 per cent of their harvest is lost every year, a value of roughly US$64.8 million.

Retailers want processed, retail-ready goods. Farmers have the produce. Until now, nothing connected the two at scale.
